Ron Ruich, owner and operator of Sassafras Slab Co., was a licensed timber buyer and logger for over 30 years. Our products are harvested or reclaimed locally and kiln-dried. We stock a variety of wood types, including beechwood, cherry, hickory, maple, oak, walnut and more.

Sassafras Slab Co. has the area's largest supply of natural edge products in the area. We offer custom slabs for bars, counter tops, tables, shelves, benches and more. Along with slabs we have a variety of unique, one-of-a-kind pieces for your special project.
